I feel good.  I have learned that no matter how good I feel I have to take my sipping slow. I had some nausea yesterday after drinking a protein shake too fast. I found that walking really does make me feel great. I walk at least every hour or two. I don't go too far. My family came over yesterday to celebrate my new life and cooked a lot of food. I was ok with not eating it, but the smells made me slightly nauseated. So I took a nap ;) I'm excited for my new life!  Is yogurt in the full liquid phase or puréed phase?  What are some suggestions for I take in the full liquid phase?  Thank you!

My surgeon takes us from clear liquid to puree so I am not sure about the full liquid suggestions, but wanted to give you a congrats for your procedure being done!  Glad you're feeling pretty good.  Sip, sip, sip those fluids!

Congrats and glad you're doing well! I literally lol'ed at your family cooking lots of food in celebration of your bariatric surgery. Totally something mine would do. :) Oh and liquids for me are exactly that - protein shakes, and non-caloric, non carbonated liquids - water, crystal light, powerade zero, broth, tea, sf popsicles, sf jello, etc. Yogurt is not on my list so I'm not sure I can have it until my mushy phase 2 weeks out. I'll have to ask at my next visit or after surgery.

Full liquids for me were protein shakes and pureed then strained soups.  I especially liked Panera's french onion soup - yum.

And your family is so silly for "celebrating" your WLS by cooking lots of food.

I am still on full liquids and it includes strained soups, blended soups, SF jello, SF pudding, protein shakes, yogurt. My doctor said it means basically anything that you can suck up thru a straw. He explained that the goal is to have these liquids trickling down through your new tummy while it is healing. They did suggest waiting on yogurt until the second week of full liquids due to it being thicker.
