Good Morning.  I will be traveling on business next week and want some ideas on what kinds of food to pack.  I will be 5 weeks out and still on soft diet.  I am not worried about eating out, I know how to get my protein in... I am worried about the airport, layovers, hotel rooms ect.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I pack a protein tumbler w/ my protein powder in a baggie or little tuperware thing.  The flight attendants will give you ice and water if you ask.

You can also try to bring yogurt through -- if you freeze it before hand it will stay a while, otherwise they sell yogurt at most places in the airport.

I'm going to be traveling at six weeks out and have similar concerns. One tip I got was to bring one of those sectioned Tupperware containers (they sell them in the baby department), then you can portion out your protein powder for 3 days or however long you need for your trip.

I just flew back from my VSG in Mexico yesterday and they had some protein shakes (Muscle milk) at the airport kiosks. I wouldn't count on it though. I brought some Unjury packets and a mixer bottle. They sell water/milk everywhere.
