Frustrated

I am 14 days post-op today.  I lost 20 pounds during my two week pre-op diet and 10 pounds since surgery. Strangely I have gone up and down within the same pound for the last 3-4 days.  I suppose this is a bit of a "stall" but I am just keeping the course. I may need to skip a few days of weighing so it doesn't irritate me. Does the infamous three week stall usually occur three weeks post-op or three weeks into drastic weight loss.  Considering the minimal amount I am eating I know the loss will have to start back up, but it is so frustrating! Sigh...

Wow, you've lost 10 pounds in 14 days?!  That's amazing!  How fast were you expecting to lose weight??

If day to day fluctuations drive you crazy, you might consider using trendweight.com (or something similar).  It's amazing and really helps you to focus on your trending weight instead of your day to day fluctuations.  If you click on the link in my signature below, you can see that I go through a lot of minor ups and downs, but that solid trend line is always going in the right direction.

Oh, I totally agree!  I am thrilled with the 10 pounds in 14 days, it just seemed weird to suddenly stop and fluctuate up and down within a pound for days so early out.  This is an interesting journey, for sure!  I put my weight into MFP and look at the graph to see the trend there. It is thrilling to see that line drop!  I have so much to lose I am really hoping to capitalize on these first few months.
