SURGERY ON 7/30/14 Getting a bit nervous!!
Having sleeve done on Wednesday and getting a bit nervous.... Liquid diet for two weeks has not been so bad but I have not lost much. Maybe 4lbs. So hoping I loose weight after the surgery...A little discouraged right now... I have cheated at night but only once and I had a scrambled egg. I will also be having my gallbladder out and a hernia fixed. Anyone ever had more than just the sleeve done? Any tips on getting the weight off?
Of course you'll lose weight if you stick to the plan. It's very rare for a person to lose in a slow, steady, and consistent manner. Most people have slower weeks, and faster weeks, and stall weeks, and everything else that is possible. Stick to the plan, get your water and protein in, and you'll be successful.

It's very, very normal to feel nervous about surgery - ANY surgery would do this. When I was in the pre-op room, I must have told the medical team a hundred times "I'm really nervous". It's part of their job to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and they will do that. Trust me, once you are in the in the pre-op room and getting ready for your procedure, they'll give you a sedative and things really do calm down very quickly for you.
I am 15 days out from my surgery and I have lost 25 pounds so far. It happens very quickly and steadily after the surgery, so yes indeed, you will lose weight! Try as much as you can not to worry, and remember that your surgeon has done this procedure many times before. You'll be just fine.
