Pre-Op Diet

I started the Liver Shrinking diet 2 days ago.  Shake in the morning, lite snack, protein shake for lunch, 3oz or protein and 1/2 cup veggies for dinner, 10 small carrot sticks (1 cup) at night........

I am up late tonight and am hungry, but I like to listen to my stomach beg........  Bwahahahaha..............

I got a handle on this!  My stomach and food had a love affair right before my eyes and I didn't like it!  so one of us has to leave...........

And it aint gonna be me!!!!

I am also scheduled for surgery on August 6th. I have to do a 2 week pre-op diet, real food, staying between 800-1000 calories,  with 60-100 grams of protein, and 60-100 grams of carbs.   This morning makes 1 week down!  I am down 7 1/2 pounds for this past week.  Not sure how i would be doing if it was an all liquid diet, but this is working for me, and has gone surprisingly well so far.   

 

      

Surgery Date: August 6, 2014. (Dr's Goal weight for me is set at 162~My Goal Weight is 145.  (I think, will see how i feel at 162!)
