Submitted for Insurance!

Hi! I've been lurking around here for a little while now, but finally decided to say hello. Hello!

It's been a whirlwind 6 weeks, but my paperwork was submitted to insurance for approval last Thursday! I called my insurance company and they said they are working on a 24-72 business hour turnaround, so I should know by tomorrow. It's still all very surreal, this can't really be happening, right? I can't really be on the verge of having weight loss surgery, right? It's really hard to imagine.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everyone and join in on the community fun!

Hi There! My paperwork has just been submitted also! Although my surgeons office says it could take up to a month to hear something. I'm not a patient person so I hope it's much sooner than that! Best of luck to you! If you want to chat feel free to message me :)

Yep... the past 6 weeks Whew!!...LOL My office submitted to BCBS on July 30 (Wed). I called and they said it takes 21-30 days , but have been seeing a turn around frame of two weeks.... I'm so excited!!
