Two Questions.......
Not everyone loses their hair.
I aim for 25-30 grams of protein in a serving. (And I prefer a serving to be 8-10 ounces.) I mix my own from protein powder and unsweetened original almond milk.

My favorites are double rich chocolate and peanut butter cookie, but you'll probably need to do some trial and error to find out what you like best!
Hair loss tends to be a result of the anesthesia/trauma our body experiences during surgery. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telogen_effluvium I shaved my head 6 weeks post-op and now I'm at the point where I should be losing my hair if it's going to happen, but I'm not sure I'd notice since my hair is so short!

I lost about 114 lbs on my own years ago, and I did it very rapidly (on par with the rate of gastric bypass), and I definitely noticed some thinning of my hair. :-( That said, the doctor I worked with discouraged vitamin supplements, so I'm hoping that with the regimen of vitamins required after weight loss surgery, that won't be an issue this time. (Although reading the posts about the hair loss associated with the trauma of surgery makes me nervous!)
