update: I don't suck anymore!
Hi everyone, I just have to say thank you to everyone for the overwhelming support, encouragement, words of wisdom, and tough love I was show after my last post on Monday night: " I confess that I suck"
I had such an outpouring of support that I couldn't even believe how many people took the time to stop and encourage me, to drag me from the depths of my pity party mindset. I even had people check in with me via message just to see how I was doing. Unbelievable, and very moving. I am very grateful for all of you and happy to be part of this "community".
I am thrilled to report that yesterday, I had a flawless, cheat free day. I saw my surgeon for preop, they said I'm doing great and everything is good to go for my surgery on Tuesday, August 12th. And I have lost 12.8 pounds since starting my liquid diet 5 days ago!
Reading everyone's responses really helped change my mindset toward success. No more negative thought, its eye on the prize! I am confident I will not slip up again.
You are all truly wonderful.
Kelly
