5 month update

Hi all! It's been 5 months and I love my sleeve! The last few months have definitely been a honeymoon period. The portion size seems so natural and I have automatically developed a different approach to food. I don't eat for boredom or entertainment-I eat because I'm hungry and need nutrition. I haven't been good about recording intake and I haven't been super strict. I know I will need to tighten up more in the future-but it seems to be working now. I started work for the first time in 2.5 years (I had a head injury). For the first 4 weeks of work, I had to stop working out in order to control symptoms. I got back into working out again this week-and it wasn't that hard to start up again since I enjoy working out. Even though I still lost 16 pounds this month, I just feel better and stronger when I'm working out.

My only real issue is bad diarrhea for the last month. I have to have it evaluated, but I think I may have developed an intolerance to something. I don't think dairy since I tried cutting that out with no change.

Anyway-I am very happy and so glad I did this surgery! What a difference 5 months makes! I've lost 138 pounds from my high weight and 84 pounds since surgery. Have gone from size 26 to 14/16. Some clothes I have to get 16 only because of the extra skin (arm wings!).
