For the first tiime in many years, I actually got up early and went walking.  I did 2.6 miles in 45 minutes. Last night I did a one hour weight workout covering lower and upper body.

I hope I don't crash this afternoon, but right now, I do feel pretty dang good.  I don't know if my wife will appreciate me getting up at 5:30 everyday.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

Great job getting out there first thing in the morning. When I first started getting up early to go for my runs, my wife would wake up to see what I was doing and go right back to sleep. Now, she usually never knows I'm gone. I think your wife will get use to you getting up early as you continue to make it a routine. Right now, she is has to adjust to the new and improved you. oops, I forgot, I did exercise this morning. I ran 4.25 miles on the dreadmill. My plan was to run 6-8 miles, but I'm out of town and had to use the exercise room at the hotel; it was hot and stuffy.

Thanks!  I actually thought of you (not in a creepy way but in a "can't wait for her to see this on MFP" way)!  hahaha


The coolest part of it was I could have kept going...but I have SO much to do here at home today because I'm going kayaking tomorrow.  I stopped.  But I didn't HAVE to stop.  It was a choice.  I think I had at least another mile in me!

That is awesome :)  It is fun being amazed by our bodies.  I can't get over it!

I might get out kayaking tonight, but it is supposed to be rainy & yucky here tomorrow - boo.
