I did 1 mile on the treadmill in 17 minutes, heart rate 149. Then I did a lower body weight workout for about 30 minutes.

I killed it at the gym today. 30 minute pump class, 30 minute ab class, 60 minute step class -- then a leisurely kayak w/ the family. Wow -- a year ago the kayak ride would have been a chore.

3.25 miles in 48 minutes in the Texas heat. Had to stick my head under the water faucet afterwards!!!!

Yes, it has certainly gotten hot here in August. I walk very early or very late to avoid the heat.
