Hello Oh fam!

So I'm two months pre-op and I have slowly been making changes. Today I want to see if I can stick with my changes. We have our company picnic today! Usually its a free for all with wonderful food. Today my goal is to stick to the proteins & veggies and stay away from the pasta salad, dips, chips, cookies, etc!! I know the people in my dept, the like to eat and they also like to push food. I plan on standing tall! Wish me luck! :)

good luck. just tell them you are stuffed, which you will be after a little protein.

keep a plate full of food you can eat even when your done eating so people don't bother you to take more junk

Thanks for the advice! I stayed strong and finally the third time of saying no everyone understood I didn't want ice cream or cookies!! The good news is I won a great raffle prize, two airline tickets to anywhere in the US!
