You have more intestinal fortitude than I do my friend.  And, the really sad thing is, I use the whole weight just as much because I feel as though people expect to hear this drastic weight loss number when I talk to them.  I know thats not how I should view people asking me how much I have lost but when I see someone that I havent seen for say, two weeks, like a family member or something, they always get this expectant look in their eye like somehow I have magically lost another 45 pounds in that two week.  So, when I say, oh I have lost 4 more pounds, its kind of a let down.  So, I always say how much I have lost total just cause it sounds more impressive.  I know, I'm lame haha.

I have never heard of the 40-60% expected weight loss before, but I guess it sounds reasonable. I am 3 months out and right at 55% lost. I too am super happy with where I'm at. I wouldn't change a thing.....

ok, so you did have someone suggest a percentage at 3 months out.  That seems to be, from the majority of responses, a rather rare occurrence.  But, 30% would mean I was doing pretty well so I am ok with that number.  As always, thanks for the response.  There are a few of you on here that I reply everytime I post and I want you to know it is very much appreciated.

To calculate what % the sleeve has helped u lose should go by your surgery date weight. That gives the true % re the sleeve surgery.

Thank you for your response.  When someone asks how much I have lost I usually go from before surgery, at my highest point.  But, if someone asks how much have you lost since the surgery, then I tell them from surgery date.  I guess what I was trying to figure out was what % to use when figuring out the 40-60% that I honestly thought was a common measuring stick.  From the responses I have got so far, it appears it really isnt common so I guess I wont really worry about it to much.  Appreciate you taking the time to respond :)

You don't need to worry to much its just common 40-60%.
