I was logging my lunch and noticed I had 300 calories left fordinner and thought, wow, that's a lot. 4 months ago 300 calories would not have been an appetizer.

Most of my meals run in the 250-350 calories. The difference is "nuts" which are small in size but calorie dense.
That also assumes we're talking regular meals and not ice cream or other similar snacking.
