Interesting and it highlights why isolate is better for post op than concentrate since it's absorbed more readily. For RNY folks, anyway. Do VSGers have the same recommendation?
I'm trying out a beef protein isolate powder called Carnivor for an upcoming road trip and because my husband can't have milk-based things. I'm trying to nudge him toward protein-based snacks. I've had the chocolate flavor once so far and it was really good. We'll see how it goes.
