Eggs can be challenging for some people, so just be prepared!  I enjoyed pureed chicken curry.  Yum.

My gotos where:

Breakfast - scrambled eggs

Lunch - Tuna or Salmon from a can/pouch (man I hate this stuff now)

Dinner - Same or lunch or maybe some bean substance.  I tried to limit beans due to the carb to protein ratio.

My first thing was scrambled eggs and I found it too heavy

only got 2-3 forkfuls in ( toddler fork)

i switched to googie eggs ( over easy) and that didn't upset my stomach like

the scrambled did, but even that I could only eat 1/2 of...

I eventually ate scrambled again maybe I gave it a month..

tuna also may be too heavy in the beginning..

lucky duck!  2 weeks out I was on full liquids and then soft foods.

Fish was really good b/c I wanted meat!  I also pureed meat loaf w/ gravy.  It sounds gross, but I wanted meat so badly.  Enjoy!

It was such a pleasure to be on purees after the two weeks of full liquids. Do you have a NutriBullet? You can do all kinds of things with that. I also loved Trader Joe's fat-free refried beans with a little bit of cheese and a dash of sour cream. Eggface also has a great ricotta bake -- check out her site!

Thanks everyone! I had scrambled egg beaters and 1 laughing cow cheese square! Went down fine only ate 1/4 cup of eggs

my puréed / soft stage does not include any meat other than fish

I can have eggs, a lot of different cheese, tuna, haddock, tilapia, Refried beans, mashed potatoes, squash and hummus

then stage 5 enters ground meat

stage 6 is getting back to everything else breads pastas fruits and veggies

so far doing great!

I started with watermelon, mushed in my mouth. Really refreshing, but could only have about 3 or 4 bites. Laughing cow wedge cheese too!!! Cottage cheese also. I am going to try the ricotta bake this weekend, it looks delish!

I took the different flavors of instant potatoes in a package......made them thin to soup consistency and then added cheese......I loved hot potato soup!  Could only eat a little at a time and didn't want to over do the carbs but they went down smooth.

If you do try scrambled eggs, would recommend NOT overcooking them and keeping them a little wet. I did mostly tuna or egg salad at that stage of the game. Tuna was the best for me. Just make sure you keep chewing really well. I also did meatloaf. Ground beef never gave me an issue but I know is challenging for others.
