Too much water? Stretching pouch?

So I'm a little over 2 weeks post op and I'm drinking water fine I'm wondering if it's too good?

I can drink a 20 ounce bottle in 90 min is this ok does water just pass through or am I risking stretching my pouch?

My food intake is smaller and slower about 1/4 or 2 ounces at a time

thanks

From what I know, as long as you're not in pain or even discomfort while drinking, you should be fine.

I'm told we cannot stretch our sleeves with water at all.

And good job on the 20 ounces in 90 minutes! Keep up the great work!

You can't stretch your stomach with liquids.  Your pyloric valve is open and the liquids go straight through you.  You just have less swelling than most, enjoy your luck.  :)

just FYI, ppl with sleeved stomachs don't have a pouch. It is our same stomach as before only smaller. GL
