How is it possible.....?

How is it possible to go from normal bowel movement one day to being totally & completely & painfully constipated the next??? This happens to me about once every week or two .......ughhhhhh.

I suppose the same way it's possible to go from horrible painful constipation to horrible painful liquid diarrhea which I just suffered through for 3 days.  Our bodies are just mean!

But in all seriousness, did you change up your diet at all in the last couple days? More protein less fiber? 

I found that taking a stool softener 4-6 times a week helps a ton. I never had issue prior to the sleeve, but glad the softener's keep thing going.

I had the same issue and my gastroenterologist put me on over-the-counter miralax (or its generic equivalent) once a day. He said you can take it every day but it won't make you dependent on it. It has helped me tremendously!

I was worried taking it everyday would make me dependent....,,

Miralax is a non-stimulant laxative, so it's safe. 

I add it to my shake on any day I don't poop in the morning. 

I also started to take stool softener and I was taking it every day, which probably contributed to my problems this weekend.  If you do take stool softeners be careful with how frequently you take it.

I took miralax this am, 2 senokot about 3 pm & 2 more just now.....hopefully by the morning I get relief.

Ughhhhh I Totaly feel your pain today ... I actually just said to my husband this is going to be a long night .... my tummy is killing me ... I finally went a little a bit ago but it feels like so much more is needed... sorry tmi.... my stomach is soooo crampy and sharp pains and that horrible sweat thing... but nothing more ughhhhhh  good luck to you!!!
