Is it just me or anyone else, scatter brain after surgery? Surgery date was 4/28/14 and the last two months I have been all over the place. Cant focus at work, heck I cant even make out one sentence without making up a new word.

Same here!  You're  not the only one!  And I swear I've been off the pain meds for two weeks!  Have you ever heard of "Chemo brain"?  Sounds like the same thing. My brain just won't engage!  Haha!  I'm three weeks out today, and honestly, I think it's beginning to get better.

Totally! I got scatter brained on the pre op diet too! Between the anesthesia and greatly reduced calorie consumption it makes sense that we'd be fuzzy afterwards. I'm mostly back to normal at 8 weeks out, but it definitely affected me.

I wish I could blame it on the surgery.  For me it is just getting old.

This exact thing is happening to me!  I'm forgetful, can't complete a sentence correctly, use incorrect words to express my thoughts. It's crazy. I'm 3 weeks out and my doc says it's due to low calorie consumption and should get better when I'm at stage 4 and eating more.
