5 months post-op - Before & After pic in profile :)

Hey all,

I'm coming up on 5 months post-op and have been doing well and feeling great.  This past weekend I was invited to a wedding as a friend's plus one and I was so excited to be able to get dressed up and go!  I had to scramble to find a dress because I left my options back in Maryland and had to travel to NY for the wedding.  Being able to walk into Lord & Taylor Outlet and pick a dress of the rack without issues or problems was a crazy new experience and really was awesomely wonderful.  The coolest part was that it was a size 10!!! WHAT?!  

I'm having trouble uploading the photo here so please check my profile if you're interested in seeing the before and after.  The "before" photo on the left is from May 2013 - 300+ pounds, size 20/22.  The two photos on the right are from this past Friday, 9/12 - 193 pounds, size 10 :D :D

I felt amazing, danced all night and had such a blast.  When I put the photos on facebook, my friends and family didn't recognize me and showered me with compliments and love about how great I'm looking and doing.  I visited my grandma in NY and she cried and was so genuinely happy to see me in such good health.  It was a gloriously, emotional and happy weekend and I loved every moment of it.

I have another wedding in two weeks and can't wait to try on long formal wear and see what I end up with then :)
