I have recently become ADDICTED to peanut butter...... The creamy, sweet, smooth deliciousness is sooooo good but soooooo BAD.  My jar went out in the trash, I can't control my craving.  Back to pb2 I guess.

I love the stuff.... it doesn't love me....can people really only eat one spoon full?

Two things that stopped my WL were peanut butter and beef jerky.

My fav store in Berkeley CA had a sample person giving out tastes of fresh ground Honey Roasted peanut butter...... Crack kills !!!

You should try my Thai Chicken Satay Sauce.....

I just buy a Justins Peanut Butter packet so I don't have a whole jar around.

Thai Peanut Sauce:

-          1 tsp. natural peanut butter

-          2 tsp. Greek yogurt, non-fat, plain

-          1 tsp. water

-          1 tsp. lime Ponzu (soy sauce and lime)

-          1/4 tsp. Sriracha (the red bottle hot sauce with the rooster on it! This can be found in the international food section of the supermarket)

-          1/8 tsp. ground ginger

-          1/8 tsp. ground garlic

-          Non-nutritive sweetener to taste (slightly sweet compliments the curry powder on the chicken)

What you'd addicted to is the sugar they add to peanut butter.

I love peanut butter too :( I just try and have it only occasionally and it sucks because it is so yummy!

Yeah I threw out my peanut butter and almond butter when I found that I was planning my entire eating day around saving up enough calories to have some . . . not healthy eating behavior IMO. And then occasionally I would have more than I planned as well. So it had to go.

Good to know I am not alone......I tried justifying myself b/c it had "protein" but the calories were killing me & fat too.

I do much better if I only eat the types with nothing added, just ground peanuts  No sugar added.  I still looooove it but it is not as triggery. I can't eat any kind of Almond butter though. I don't even dare try cashew butter.
