October Surgeries Where Are You? (VSG)
I don't even know if I'm allowed to post this here, but I wanted to let you all know I started an October 2014 Sleevers group here on OH. The link to it is in my signature. If it's not allowed, please delete this post, and I apologize.
I just wanted to try to bring together those of us who are having surgery in October so we could all support each other as we're all going through the same time frame. I know there's lots of amazing support here on the VSG forums and you guys aren't gonna get rid of me that easily so don't worry!

Hi,
I will be having my surgery in October. Likely the 6th or 7th. I find out for sure at my appt on Monday (the 22nd). I'm very nervous about the preop diet. My practice requires us to drink Ketogenx shakes, and I can't stomach them....but I guess i'll have to suck it up for the cause!! Best wishes for your upcoming surgery!!
I definitely know how you feel, I'm pretty terrified as well. I'm starting my liquid diet in a few days and it's all I can think about! I know in my head that everything's going to be ok, and I know that my fears are pretty irrational at this point because there are a ton of people who have had the surgery and they're just fine. But I can't get the fear out of my head. There are lots of really helpful people on OH and I strongly suggest that you read as much as you can here on the forums between now and your surgery...I read the new posts every day and it's helping. I wish you luck!!
