Is it normal to feel this good?

Ok, I had my surgery on Thursday the 18th, went home on Friday. No pain, no nausea, easy getting liquids and protein down. Here it is Monday and I've been at work all day and still feel great. I don't feel as if I had any surgery at all. I checked my scale and it tells me I lost 15lbs. This is unbelievable, I keep looking around waiting for the other shoe to drop....

I had mine on the 17th and besides the first 24 hours which I was hurting from the gas build up inside, have also felt great. Maybe a little tired and some soreness but stopped taking the pain meds after the 3rd day post op. Down 10lbs in 5 days works for me as well and not hungry.

Wow! You're both really lucky. I wasn't in pain but I had a lot of trouble getting in liquids and felt "odd" for at least 2 weeks. I wouldn't worry! We're all just different.

After the first two days I felt pretty good too. I was back to work in a week and playing tennis at two weeks out. I'm glad you are doing so well.  Make the most of this time.

Yup, that was my story too. Almost two years post op and no shoes have dropped. I have had two rounds of plastics too and can't recall even having a cold in the last two years. So don't go borrowing trouble! Enjoy your new lease on a healthier life!
