It's about an hour and a half.  But you'll be under post-anesthesia recovery longer.

Mine was 90 minutes but I had a hernia repair in addition to the vsg. Also my surgeon has a rep for doing extremely meticulous work -- which means he goes slower than some others.

I was supposed to have surgery at 9:00AM. They got super behind and I didn't go back for surgery until about 1:30, and was in my room by 4:30. I just recently found out from my mom that they had to wait on a room for me to go in, so I was in recovery a lot longer than normal.
