Ok so I bought the bariatric vitamins as I was told it had a lot of the needed vitamins I needed in one tablet ( well dose is 2 a day)

well they arrived in the mail and I tried them and 10 minutes later I was so nauseas I threw up!!

The centrum chewables I can take fine don't make me sick at all

has anyone else had this kind of reaction to the bariatric vitamins??

I never expected this to happen at all???

They don't make me sick, but I find that the Bariatric Advantage multi vitamins taste terrible and I would avoid taking them. I do the Centrum Silver chewables instead. They have what I need and taste good.

I bought the Bariatric Advantage too. Everything is fine but the calcium vitamin. My wife likes it because it (kinda) tastes like chocolate but I HATE them. The thought of eating them twice a day F-O-R-E-V-E-R (say it like the redheaded kid in the movie Sandlot) makes me depressed.

On the bright side, I'll have a much longer time to hate them. :O)

I found that the sweetness of the chewable vitamins didn't agree with my new tummy, so on recommendation from my Nutritionist, I crushed the vitamins and mixed them with a little plain greek yogurt.  I found I enjoyed the creamy treat twice a day, and I still do it.  Perhaps that would help.

best wishes,

Carol

If I take my multi's on top of a meal, I tend to get nauseated, so I try to take them in between meals. You're not alone. I'm using the Celebrate multis.

Are you taking them with food?

Centrum chewables are a good option for your multi, though, so you should be fine with that if it works for you.  But try taking the bariatric one with food and see if that helps.
