8 months! Finally posted pics
Hopefully the picture process went okay - first time I've tried to post pics, but I did post them to my profile. I have a picture the day before surgery, and then 2 pictures from today - 8 months later. I have reached my goal of 175 pounds, and just curious to see where this sleeve takes me from there. I'm not planning on stopping until my body stops. I feel SO good! I was thinking about this the other day - I have not been this weight for 20+ years. I got down to about 150 at one point when I was in college and dating my husband (and we were dancing like crazy). But, I pretty quickly went back up to over 180 and haven't been below that since, until now. I had to go do some shopping today because I have a business event coming up and I have NO clothes to wear for that type of thing, and I was so excited to put on a pair of size 12 pants and they FIT. Yee haw!
Just another rambling thought - I'm so grateful to all of you who keep posting on this site. It keeps me in the groove to read all of your thoughts, struggles, and successes. It helps me remember why I did this, and helps keep me focused on what I need to do. So glad to be where I am today! Happy, happy, happy!!!!!
