I apologize for this repetitive question BUT does anyone swallow whole regular vitamins and has good lab results?  I HATE chewing vitamins!

The ASMBS recommends that we use chewables for the first 3-6 months.  I use all regular vites now and my labs are pretty awesome aside from a copper issue I'm dealing with - but it's unrelated to my vitamin pills!

I still chew my calciums though, because I love bariatric advantage chocolate peanut butter.

I have never taken chewable vitamins and was swallowing horse pills since the day I was home from the hospital.

As a DSer, I keep a close watch on my nutritional levels and tweek from time to time as my body adjusted over the last 9 years, but damn near perfect.  For some reason, zinc isn't absorbed well for me, and when I take more than a double-dose I break out in acne, so I just deal with it.

I use the bariatric advantage.  first taking the one with iron until my 6 month labs came back with a high iron level.  Now I take the multivitamin without iron. I don't take calcium because I have an issue with cardiac irritability with supplemental calcium  use even if my blood levels are normal.  I just drink a cup of milk every day and eat two pieces of string cheese for my snacks at work.  My calcium levels were normal.

I took two Flintstones complete for the first month then could switch to swallowing pills.

My nut said I could take regular vits but to cut them up. I couldn't swallow them cut up because the edges were jagged.  I'm going in for my first labs next week.

I am back to swallowing vitamins, my doctor said it was OK to restart once I was eating solid food comfortably.  I am not due for labs until one more month so I will know  then what my labs are like.
