So, Monday will be six weeks and I'm down 40.5 lbs. (50.5 if you count the 10 I lost on the two week pre-op diet).

Before surgery I wore a size 50 pants. I go to Wally World to buy a few pair of pants because mine are falling off. I grab a pair of 46's and a pair of 44's. I'm sure the 44's won't fit but I just wanted to see how tight they were. I get in the changing room and decide to get the bad news first. So, I try on the 44's.

And they were too big!

I ended up buying three pairs of 42's. They were a tight but the next size up was too big. Hopefully they will be just right in a week or two.

I can't wait to go shopping and not have to go to the "Damn Your Big," section.

:O)

Yeah... I don't expect that pace to continue but I'm not complaining.

I've had one successful diet before. With diet pills and a low-carb (almost a no-carb) diet I was able to lose 20lbs a month for several months straight. Of course, I ended up gaining it back... BUT I expect to lose weight at rate close to that.

Awe that is great! I am two weeks out and have lost 15 lbs since day of surgery and 21 since I started the pre op diet.  I cant wait to be in a size that sells cute clothes.  Lol all these plus size clothes make me feel like a walking tent or a walking set of curtains.   Keep up the good work!

God Bless us all on this journey KC

Yeah... I'm not really going for cute, being a guy and all. Just going for a smaller size of long sleeve button-downs and khakis.
