Hi everyone! My name is Michaela and I am 4 months post-op from getting a VSG. I have lost 86 pounds so far! It has been the best decision I have ever made. I actually created a blog that I kept secret for the entire year that I was going through the pre-op process, and I have finally been able to post the blog publicly! If you would like to read it, I think it will answer a lot of questions you may have and you will be able to find someone to relate to :) www.journeyofonederland.com

Thanks for posting your link Michaela. And congrats on your VSG!
I will pop over and peek at your blog for sure! Reading stories of people who have done this is so uplifting and inspiring. I enjoy it immensely!

Awesome blog. Thank you for sharing your journey. It was especially helpful for me to read about the long journey to get a date. I started this process in January of this year and I've had my date (Nov 21) for about month now but I'm STILL waiting for final approval from insurance. This week was my pre-op physical, labs, and EKG. Now I sit and wait for the next instructions and hopefully get insurance approval.
