Surgery date and weird question???
The hard work has paid off and I'm scheduled for November 19!!!!
I am so nervous but more excited - this board has been a huge help and great support system.
My question is.... My cycles are extremely regular and I will more than likely be on my period during surgery. Has this happened to anyone else? Should this be a concern?
Mine started the day after surgery. The blood thinners made the flow very heavy and it lasted for over a week
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! It'll be here before you know it.
No idea about the period, I take Seasonique so I was able to plan to get mine 2 weeks pre-op. :P

I got mine the day after surgery, though I wasn't due for another 10 days or so. It's very common. I got the mesh undies and pads from the hospital.

Got mine the day after discharge and even with blood thinners...it was the best dot ever! Usually mine are heavy and it was a concern. Personally I would feel more comfortable not having to deal with it. You are in and out of bed often...but a lot of docs won't let you bathe straightaway. Good luck with surgery..keep us posted!
