Maggiano's Tonight -- ugh!

I'm going out tonight on a first date and he picked Maggiano's.  I'm planning on having the lighter take chicken Marsala.  The portions there are HUGE.  I'm so not a fan of big chains anymore.

I think you'll have plenty to focus on other than the food :)  Youve got some serious game and im totally jealous right now!

I tried to check out menu and all they had on-line was pasta dishes and you get to take one home and extra for free!  Oh, boy... peaked my interest though since my boys love pasta. I made spaghetti & meatballs for my kids this week and just ate the meatballs.   The meatballs were actually quite good by themselves with some sauteed  portobello mushrooms.  The stuffed mushrooms should be good.

I think they have a "lighter" chicken marsala. You'll do good. Just have fun.

I looked at the menu. It's not too bad, there are a bunch of things I would order. I thought it would be much worse (pasta, pasta, with a side of pasta). And then I guess I'd have leftovers for days.

So how did it go?????

It went really well :)  We both ordered off of the lighter take menu (which is still very high in calories!).  I had the lighter chicken marsala.  It was delicious.  

The conversation was great.  We wanted to continue to the date but there wasn't much to do in the area.  He mentioned a haunted house, but I was at risk of breaking my ankle if scared due to my heals :), so we ended up wandering around Dicks Sporting goods for 45 minutes to keep chatting.  I may or may not have recieved some nice kisses in the parking lot :)

We have dinner plans for Monday night :)
