How many days does it take to finally have a bowel movement? How many days does it take for the gas pains to leave?

usually 1 week or a little more to poop

gas pains last about 3-10 days , a hot towel helps a lot and walking

I pooped in the hospital. Every day I don't poop in the morning, I add Miralax to my breakfast shake.

The gas pain left pretty quickly for me, but I was walking as soon as I was allowed to post-op. The nurses were amazed at my laps of the hallway in the hospital!

I walked 4 times the first day around the nurses station. 6 times on day 2 and so on. I will try Mira laxto see Iif that helps. Thanks
