New Member- VSG on 11/11/14!
Hello everyone!
Starting off with introductions, as I'm new in town! My name is Drew, I'm 27 years old, and an elementary music teacher from Iowa.
First off thank you to everyone who, without realizing it, has motivated me and kept me on the straight and narrow during the preparation for my surgery. I lurked on OH daily, just looking at success stories and using everyone for motivation.
Secondly, I am scheduled with Dr. Glas**** in Cedar Falls, IA for my VSG on 11/11/14, just started my liquid diet yesterday! Honestly I feel awful right now, but I know it'll all be for the best moving forward. Starting out at 5'6'' and 325 lbs, I hope to lose quite a bit of weight with the surgery's help (and working my butt off, no pun intended). I can't wait to join you all on the loser's bench!
I'm getting my sleeve on Nov 6th, so just a few days before you. I'm so excited and also can't wait to join the loser's bench!!

The first 3-4 days of liquids are the worst. Then it'll start to get easier :)
