Hernia a VSG

Does getting a large hernia repaired along with the VSG  make the recovery harder or the same as just having the VSG alone???

I had my VSG surgery 10/21/14 with a hernia repair.  The recovery was not hard and I would assume it's the same as VSG alone.  I was up and walking the next day.
