Can the insurance take back their approval??
I think it's more your Doctor than your insurance company. Once you are approved they aren't sending information to the insurance company each step of the way. I was told to lose 15-20 which I thought was impossible, and the person I met with initially said "he'll do it if you lose 12, they just want to know you are trying" I ended up losing it.... but I have heard on these Boards that some Docs are more strict with this than others. I hope it works out, Good Luck!

I agree with above poster re it being the docs call....from pre-op 6 mos to 1 mos I lost 10....the last month I had too many food funerals and gained 10. this info does not get back to insurance. good luck!!

Seems doubtful, but I'd ask the surgeon just to be safe.
