Back in the 100's OH Fam!!! Went from 218 to 199 and could not be any happier! But damn it has been a struggle... So many parties  this week= no food( that I can order) or alcohol for me. I miss my wine very very much lol, but this whole process is for the greater good, and I'm feeling great. I feel totally lame though

With it being 2 weeks out, I feel that I have been so consumed with getting all of my walking in and staying active, that I totally forget to rest and relax sometimes. I just don't want to be lazy and be laying down all day. I know I had a major surgery, and I should take it easy, but for goodness sakes I'm ALWAYS out and about doing whatever. I'm concerned because I  still have some pain, its bearable, but its there. I hope there is nothing to worry about, but I know I over did things this week.

Does anyone a couple weeks Post Op still have a faint pain in their stomach? The answer prob is to follow docs orders and to rest. I hope I'm over exaggerating, and this is completely normal for 2 week out.....

I am on day 19 and I have more pain now than I did in the beginning.  It's still tolerable, one of the incision sites is just very tender....feels like I pulled a muscle.  So, it makes you sit back and pay attention.  Our bodies need to heal, so do take the time to listen to it and take care of yourself.

Good luck...

Yea that's exactly how it feel...like a pulled a muscle in there. I'll try and relax as much as possible. But it is for sure hard for me to sit still. Thanks for the advice! Good luck

Congratulations on your success so far!

You should definitely take it easy if you're still feeling pain that's always there - eek.

Thank you so much! I also checked out your livejournal. Its so awesome how u schedule out your routines like that. I might have to take a page from your book on that one. lol But, I will try and take it easy. I want it to heal properly after all.

I'm someone who loves lists and order and routine, so journaling everything really helps me with that and staying on track :)

EXACTLY! Who has the time to rest anymore?! Not this gal, always something to do, and only me to take care of it! I know it must seem like 17 days must have flown by right? Officially 14 days for me today, and tt really is unbelievable. Congrats Blue, and "try" to take it easy lol

Congrats on how well you are doing. I am 3 weeks post op  and i still get a little pain if i over do my work outs or lift a little to much, but all in all this is the best i have felt in years and I find it hard not to get out and enjoy my self and my new energy level ... ok back to your question, my surgeon said everybody is different with pain and 4 to 6 weeks in not unheard of but it is always better to ask your surgeon because he is the one that's going to know ... It's always better to ask . be safe than sorry.

Seriously Congrats on all the hard work you have done, I'm so happy that you feel so happy and energized. I will talk to my surgeon tomorrow when I see him, I'm sure he will answer all of my questions. Better safe than sorry, your right. Thanks for the advice and good luck!
