Sleeping after surgery--Bed or Recliner?
Just wondering if it was easier/more comfortable to sleep in a recliner versus a bed after surgery. We live in a 2 story house and I'm just wondering if it is more comfortable to sleep downstairs in a recliner or if I will be better off going up the stairs to bed. Also, we need to replace the chair in our living room and if a recliner is more comfortable I will sway that way in the purchase (even tho I think a lot of them are rather ugly.) thanks!
I did the recliner thing but only for the first few nights.

I ordered a recliner to recover in but my surgeon moved my date up and it hasn't come in yet. I have been sleeping in bed. I can only sleep on my back as any other position hurts. I also discovered in the hospital that any other position but completely on my back caused my mouth to fly open defeating my nasal CPAP.
Bed for now, but once I get home it is recliner for me. So cannot get comfortable in a bed.
