Changes approaching week 4

Ok fellow Sleevers,

The stall is still in place, it is the same pound small uptick, small downtick for the last few days, and I am ok with that, I knew it was coming.

Can't really increase my exercise as I am not cleared for anything more than 30-45 minutes at this time, I walk my pack of dogs, but I see the surgeon on the 17th.

I am following my plan to the T, getting my protein, and fluids in daily. But I have noticed how the relationship with food changes, eating out of necessity as opposed to wanting to.  I have to keep my meals scheduled or I forget, because I am not feeling hunger at this point.

It has been an interesting first month of my new life, while I wasn't a fan of liquids, I now understand the importance of remaining hydrated.

Any advice on how to "snap" the stall?  Or do you just wait it out?

Wait it out....and take measurements.  Your body will lose fat even if you don't see the pounds dropping on the scale.  It has something to do with the muscles replacing all it's glycogen stores, blah, blah, blah.

Stay on track and the scale will move again.  I don't know of a single, solitary soul that stopped losing at 3 weeks post-op

Thanks for the input Tracy!  I can feel it on my waist actually.

Well, I don't want to be the first one to that!!!

I vote for wait it out and give yourself a pat on the back for what you have accomplished.  Be prepared for more of these along the way too. We did not get "here" overnight and it will take time to get "there".

Im with ya at the 3 week stall. From what I hear it's normal. But I did notice, the inches have melted off. So I had my fiancé hide the scale. Your doing much better than me. I find if I get all my liquids I've missed a lot of my proteins, and if I've gotten all my proteins I've missed some liquids.

Ok, I have been in a stall for two weeks and lost nothing.  No pounds, no inches, nothing.  Why is everyone else shrinking but I am not?  I am beyond frustrated as I expected to at least be getting physically smaller even if the scale wasn't dropping.  Also still wearing the same clothes as my surgery date (although I did drop a shoe size.  Maybe I lost all the weight in my feet?).  I see my surgeon next week so I hope SOMETHING changes by then...
