Still happens!
It's a good reminder. My family is programmed to jump in between me and the food as soon as I hiccup.
9yrs out and I still hiccup 3 times when i"m full. The runny nose comes first, so pay attention to that, too.

Runny nose? From eating too fast?
What else should I be looking for? I'm only 5 weeks out and I've experienced the hiccups, watery mouth/feeling the need to vomit, but nothing else so far. I've been measuring my food out to 2-3oz depending on what it is and trying to take at least 20 min to eat it.
It's not a signal to eat slower - but a signal that I'm getting full and need to stop eating.
The watery mouth/need to vomit is eating too fast. You need to pause and let things go down. Potatoes can do that to me if I eat too quickly.

Haha, my family is also learning my full signs and I'll occasionally get asked, "Are you sure you want to eat that bite?"
