Ulcer from Antibiotic

Just wanted to post something you may want to think about.  I was recently prescribed a strong antibiotic for a thooth that had broken and abcessed and took it as prescribed.  Two weeks later, I started having bad pains about two hours after eating.  Kept getting worse and I went to the surgeon.  Found out that I should have taken yogurt with the antibiotic to coat my stomach and take care of the side effects of the antibiotics.  As a result, an ulcer started to form.  Now I am on more medication for the ulcer.  Lesson learned.....call your surgeon if you are prescribed an antibiotic to see how you should take it.

It usually says something to that effect on the bottle or as a note from the pharmacist...or did you throw away the info packet without reading it?
