Please help!!!
I have surgery Monday morning and my doctor AND pre admissions were supposed to put in a script for Mag Citrate and never did. I've called numerous departments at the hospital and NO ONE will help me figure out how to fix this. I know it's an over the counter med as well but how much do I take and when... Please any help would be greatly appreciated otherwise my surgery will be cancelled Monday!
I would recommend asking your local pharmacist. They might be able to help.

I would go up to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. If it is over the counter the pharmacist would help you choose an appropriate product when you bring in the prescription. They are a great source of info for most of the products in the vitamin/nutrient/supplement aisles.
Good luck to you!
Is it a bowel prep for surgery? If so they probably want you to consume the entire 10oz, Magnesium Citrate will clean your pipes though so don't plan on leaving the house after you take it. I have issues passing certain foods, so on occasion I need to take 4oz of this. I prefer the grape flavor.. it's better well chilled and use a straw to suck it down lol
But as other posters stated, check with the pharmacy to make sure of the dosage amount.
Good luck!
