Did anyone out thereget highly emotional after surgery like pregnancy emotional... Geeze Louise the littlest thing will make me cry and this is soooooo not me at all

Yup!  Totally normal.  Hormones are stored in fat and when we lose weight rapidly we can have a hormone dump.  Of course, you're also changing your lifestyle drastically.  Recovering from anesthesia.  Possibly still on liquids which suck.  Etc!  Lots and lots of things that can screw with your head.  

I started seeing a therapist a few months before surgery and she remains a really valuable part of my Obesity Recovery Team.  I think that therapy helps to keep my keel more even so that I don't bite people's heads off!

I am one week post-op and have not been overly emotional, but the first few days of my pre-op diet I was a blubbering mess.  For me it was the fact that I knew that after all these years I was finally making some permanent changes.  I was super excited but at the same time so scared of the unknown.
