Nope - but remember they are still carbs, quinoa or potatoes, so proceed mindfully.

I cannot eat quinoa. It does a serious number on my stomach and ... um... digestion.

Darn! I was looking forward to trying them because of the protein. I noticed that couscous also has protein, I was going to try that, too (assuming my sleeve will tolerate it)

Once in a blue moon I'll eat a little baggie of chips, but I don't fool myself into thinking they're good for me or useful in any way!  A processed carb is a processed carb.  I avoid them - even the ones that claim to be good for us.

I eat them about twice a week, some of my only processed carbs. They do give me indigestion easily though.

Make some cheese chips. Take about a tablespoon of shredded cheese put it in a small pile on a microwave safe dish. Heat in the micro wave on high for 30 seconds at a time till crispy. Peel off plate and let cool.

LOVE these. They go great with taco salad or just dipped in guacamole. Also I get these parmesan crisps occasionally as a special treat (they are expensive).

Have you all seen the new Quest chips? Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, Sea salt, BBQ and Cheddar and Sour Cream (21 g Protein). I'm still staying away from those, don't want to pick up bad habits.
