Out of the closet
Super awesome! I was stressing so much about sharing my WLS on Facebook and was so glad when I finally just did it. The support I've received has been astounding. I'm so grateful for my friends :)

Congrats. I decided to tell people once the weight loss was noticeable. At first I just told people diet and exercise but never felt comfortable and others on here pointed out, saying that to someone who is heavy and failed, like I did with just diet and exercise, would make the feel like crap. So now I say diet and exercise aided by having WLS.
Everyone has been very supportive. And if they had not, screw them. It is my life and I feel great.

I haven't been in the closet...anyone who asks I tell, but I never made a Facebook announcement. (Although my dad kind of did that for me.) This weekend we went to a professional football game and I posted my first post op picture. I got a lot of really, really positive comments and it felt wonderful!! Congrats!
