Surgery complete, back at home
Had my surgery on Tuesday. We didn't know but December is a crazy busy month at the hospital so everyone wants to get surgeries done by the end of the year before new insurance policies take affect. I was bumped from 12:30pm to about 5pm. And they didn't have a room for me so I was given a recovery room cubicle with sliding glass partitions for privacy. It was ok and the nurses were very accommodating. My husband was not pleased and ended up arguing with the surgeon about it. He had his sleeve surgery on 11/4, he's on soft foods now. I did get a regular room Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday they took the IVs out, drain out and we were headed home around 4:30pm.
Home now, resting/sleeping on a Med-Lift chair we got for husband's surgery, so helpful!
And now the real fun begins, right?

I do have some on the left side mostly. I'm trying to deal. Our surgeon told my husband they want to change their seminar presentation to include the benefits of couples getting the surgery and getting healthy together.
