How can I swallow my meds with so little water?

i know I have asked questions before on swallowing my perscription meds after sleeve surgery but it is so important to me so I'm not taking it lightly.  I've seen videos of people a day or 2 after sleeve surgery and all they can drink is a medicine cup of water at a time.  Am I really going to be ok taking my pills with such little water?

I was sleeved 1 week ago and I have not had any issues. I take 3 pills, each 1 at a time with no problems.  The bigger pill I split in half.  All my new vitamins, etc I bought in chewable, gummy or dissolvable form.  Hope this helps.

I was told my doctor to use low fat whipping cream with a baby spoon and sprinkle the capsule onto the whipped cream and wa**** down with a little water.  It works great!

I was sleeved on 12/29/14 I experienced  the "foamies" 3 days out when I swallowed some jello without disollving it enough.  So I'm crushing my pills still.  I too nervous and scared getting the foamies again. :-)

Have you talked with your surgeon about this?  My providers didn't want us taking pills.  We were given a prilosec prescription and shown how to remove the medicine from the caplet.  Any meds that couldn't be crushed we were supposed to get a liquid version of.  From reading other posts it sounds like they were being overly precautious.  I certainly wouldn't have had a problem swallowing pills.  You can take in enough water to get a pill down.  But if you're worried about the ability to swallow you could look at getting liquid meds before your surgery.
