Increased restriction?

I'm 6 months post op and I feel like I am actually eating less.  Last night I had 2.5 ounces of chicken breast, 2 bites of mashed potatoes and a bite of popcorn and I threw up.  It is the first time I've thrown up from eating too much.  I assume it was because I ate too much because after I threw up I felt fine.  Has anyone else had an experience like this?  It wasn't just last night, too, I've felt like, for about the past week, that I get full on less food.

I get full really quick on chicken.  at 6 months, 2-3 oz 2 as my limit.  At almost 10 months, 3 oz of chicken is my limit.   I can eat a little more steak or fish.

Some days my restriction is more than others.  It also depends on the moisture of the meat (for me).  Dryer chicken can fill me up QUICK!

Chicken breast is the worst.  It's dry and it's dense, and really fills you up fast.  If you really want it, try pounding it to 1/2" thickness and definitely add some kind of sauce or gravy or better yet - go for thighs instead.  Dark meat has more moiture.  Potatoes, on the other hand, are a whole different experience.  Something about them gets all bunched up in my chest.  Potatoes should be eating very slowly - even mashed.

It was pretty moist and had a sauce.  The weird thing was that I have eaten chicken at least once a week for 5 months and I have eaten potatoes a few times, but this felt new.
