Had my surgery March 9.  Still haven't driven anywhere. I am still sooooo tired.  I would love to have some ice cream.  Even if it is frozen yogurt or low carb, no carb its what my taste buds are asking for.  I'm still on liquids till the 16th.  Any suggestions?

Would some kefir do the trick?  Think yogurt smoothie.

I was allowed sugar free fudgesicles per my surgeons plan immediately post op, as he considered it to fall under full liquids. For some crazy reason I had a sensitivity to liquid temperatures and I could not handle sipping on water that was colder than room temperature. But I could suck on a sugar free fudgesicle or popsicle just fine. Granted I wasn't able to take down a full one of either or even half but to suck on was a nice break from the water every now and then. Best of luck!

I got a yobanana  at Costco and you make out of bananas  and other fruit a frozen treat like soft serve and if you skip the bananas and just use frozen fruit it is like sherbet  I would not use berries so early on but cantaloupe works great  and is healthy

Add some extra ice to a protein shake to thicken it up....should be cold enough.

Stick to sugar free popsicles. Fudgecicles and all thst other stuff have too many cslories, carbs, and crap.

We sll get cravings. Do your body and mind a favor and detox now. You'll be happy when you do.

Buy a ice cream maker and put a protein shake in it.

The other night I was feeling the same way. I am lactose sensitive/semi-intolerant & haaaaaate ice cream, but I was dying for frozen yogurt (which I usually don't like a lot but has always been easier on my system than ice cream). My solution was to freeze the 1-2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt I'm allowed to have each day to stir up crushed up meds. It wasn't quite the same but it did fine. I also had a couple SF popsicles that night.
