I would guess it's the salt.

You must not get flustered by daily fluctuations in your weight.  Could it be from the salt?  Perhaps....or maybe those olives had not one darn thing to do with it and the scale would have popped up this morning anyway.

If you're going to let tiny little scale fluctuations impact your mood or overall food plan, then stay off the scale.  It's simply not worth the mental stress, which is something that definitely CAN make the scale go up!

Olives are a good and healthy fat so you shouldn't be freaked out about eating them as long as you're downing entire cans of them.

My guess is unless you ate like 50 olives, it's the salt. But like others said - healthy fats & try not to be bothered by small scale fluctuations :)

Awesome, thanks guys :) I am 5 week out and am still trying to figure out what is good and what is not...So happy olives are in the "good" category :)

I was kinda bummed about the scale because I am soooooooo close to Onderland, I can taste it ! Not discouraged, I know I will get there :)))

.3 pounds can easily be chalked up to regular daily fluctuations..

We have to remember that the scale does not just weight fat loss. It weighs your whole body, including fluids. The scale is going to have those daily fluctuations. We need to look at weight loss at least a week at a time to get more accurate picture. :-)
