20 months in the making!  I was super excited yesterday when I calculated my BMI and Obesity no more!  Only to be trumped by seeing that first number as a "1" for the first time since 1990!!

A word of encouragement.... I had a stall that lasted about 7 months, but found a way to break through for me!!

Thanks to everyone that has helped along the way!   Keep up the good fight!!

Scott

Congratulations!  What did you do to break your stall?

Hi Gwen... I actually decided to do a juice cleanse for 5 days.  A lot of vegetable juice, but still everything came in at about 900-1000 calories per day.  With a few days of prep, and about 4 days to get back, it was a 12 day process.

I checked in here a few times and it didn't seem like a popular thing.  I needed to try something to get me over the hump after a stall.  What I found was two things.... first it cut my cravings.  Cold.

Second, giving my sleeve and system a break, I actually detoxed pretty well.  I hate to say it, but my sleeve feels a little tighter than a month ago.

I am back to eating fish and protein is though vegetable form (quinoa and beans).  I'm really enjoying it so far and maybe its a change for the long term good of things!

It's great that the juice cleanse worked for you and helped to get things moving again.  :)

My bff just did a juice "detox" and referred to it as a "spa for her digestive system."  I think she's a nut, but I love her anyway!
